SAVE NIGERIA GROUP USA ISSUES URGENT APPEAL TO PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP AND THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT TO STOP THE CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE IN NIGERIA WASHINGTON, D.C
Save Nigeria Group USA (SNGUSA) issues an urgent and passionate appeal to the President of the United States, President Donald J. Trump, the United States Government, and the international community to take immediate, decisive action—working in collaboration with the Government of Nigeria—to halt the ongoing Christian genocide and radical Islamist terrorism devastating Nigeria.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Islamist jihadist terrorists launched coordinated attacks on Christian worship centers in Kaduna State, Nigeria, abducting no fewer than 177 innocent worshippers during Sunday services. These men, women, and children were violently seized while gathered in prayer and are now believed to be facing unspeakable cruelty, forced conversion, sexual violence, and possible execution.
The confirmed churches attacked include:
- Albarka Cherubim and Seraphim Church 1
- Haske Cherubim and Seraphim Church 2
- Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA)
These atrocities are not isolated incidents. They represent a calculated reprisal and a direct test of American resolve following the Christmas Day U.S. airstrikes that successfully decimated ISIS terrorist camps in Sokoto State. Terrorist groups are deliberately targeting Christians to demonstrate defiance and to signal that they believe the international community will once again look away.
THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT — NOW FINISH THE JOB
Save Nigeria Group USA expresses its deep gratitude to President Donald J. Trump for his decisive leadership and for authorizing the Christmas Day precision airstrikes against ISIS camps in Sokoto. That action sent a powerful message to terrorists and brought hope to persecuted communities across Nigeria.
However, the brutal attacks in Kaduna State make one reality unmistakably clear: the job is not finished.
We respectfully but urgently call on President Trump to issue clear and decisive orders to Secretary Pete Hegseth and the War Department to finish the job—to fully dismantle, degrade, and destroy ISIS, ISWAP, Boko Haram, Fulani Islamist Militia, and allied Islamist jihadist networks that continue to murder Christians, destabilize Nigeria, and threaten regional and global security.
CONDEMNATION OF NIGERIAN POLICE DENIAL
Save Nigeria Group USA strongly condemns the initial denial by the Nigerian Police of the mass kidnapping in Kaduna State. This denial delayed emergency response efforts, squandered critical rescue time, and may have condemned innocent worshippers to prolonged captivity and unimaginable suffering. In the face of terrorism, denial is not neutrality—it is deadly negligence.
A CALL FOR NATIONAL UNITY AGAINST RADICAL ISLAMIST TERRORISM
We call on all Nigerians—Christians, Muslims, traditional rulers, civil society leaders, and people of conscience—to unite against radical Islamist terrorism. This crisis transcends religion. It is an existential threat to Nigeria’s unity, sovereignty, and survival as a nation. Terror thrives where denial, silence, and political expediency prevail.
URGENT APPEAL TO THE UNITED NATIONS AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Save Nigeria Group USA calls on the United Nations Secretary-General and the international humanitarian community to immediately intervene in Nigeria’s worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
Nigeria is now home to over 11 million internally displaced persons and refugees, many living in makeshift camps without adequate food, shelter, medical care, or security, facing starvation and disease daily. This is a moral emergency that demands urgent global attention, humanitarian assistance, and accountability.
SAVE NIGERIA GROUP USA STANDS READY AS A TRUSTED PARTNER
Save Nigeria Group USA reaffirms its commitment as a credible, transparent, and willing partner to governments, humanitarian agencies, faith-based organizations, and international institutions seeking to channel aid, relief, and protection to displaced persons and victims of terror in Nigeria and neighboring countries.
Organizations and partners seeking to assist are encouraged to contact us via our website: www.savenigeriagroup.org
CONCLUSION
The blood of Nigerian Christians cries out for justice.
The suffering of millions displaced cries out for action.
The world must not remain silent.
America must not hesitate.
Nigeria must not deny.
Enough is enough.
